Neligan LLP has represented a number of sports-related entities and owners, including Hicks Sports Group, Southwest Sports Group and other holding companies controlled by Tom Hicks in connection with the Texas Rangers bankruptcy case and the sale of the Dallas Stars, Iowa Chops in the sale of its minor league hockey team, and the owner of the Asheville Tourists minor league baseball team and the Tampa Bay Arena Football franchise.
